Woman continues to fight for life after being hit by bus outside London station

A woman is still fighting for her life three days after she was hit by a bus outside a London train station.

The incident happened outside London’s Victoria station in Buckingham Palace Road at 11.15pm on May 3.

The police were called to the scene and found the woman injured.

She was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, where she remains.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed today (6 May) that she is in a critical but stable condition.

No arrests have been made as police inquiries continue.

The full statement from the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 11.15am on May 3 to Buckingham Palace Road following reports of a road traffic collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.

“A woman was taken to hospital where she remains. Her condition is critical but stable.

“There was no arrest.”
