More arrests in city center drug operation

A man and a woman are to appear in court in connection with drug offenses in Bradford city centre.

Shaun Brockhill, 46, of Birch Lane, was charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

Ellie West, 22, of Rooley Lane, was charged with possession of Class A cocaine, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of a weapon for discharging noxious liquids.

Both were remanded to appear at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on June 21. A second woman, aged 22, was arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.

They were held after numerous other arrests for drug supply in Bradford since June 17.

West Yorkshire Police said the operation was launched in direct response to concerns raised by Bradford residents and that inquiries remain ongoing.
