Armed Forces Day Gallery – Wigan Warriors

On Friday evening, Wigan Warriors were delighted to take the chance to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from serving personnel to service families, veterans and cadets for their Betfred Round 15 match Super League v London Broncos. at Brick Community Stadium.

At Robin Park Arena, fan village fans were able to dress up as the Central Lancashire Regimental Parachute Association, see military vehicles and talk to representatives from the Royal British Legion and the Reeva Support Dog Programme.

While at the Brick Community Stadium, the Royal Marines delivered the match ball by abseiling from the roof of the East Stand, serving personnel, veterans and cadets took to the pitch with support dogs from the Reeva Program before an emotional rendition of the Last Post . was played followed by a minute of silence.
