Bradford City AFC are delighted to unveil the club’s new 2024/25 Macron away kit – available now!

The strip can be purchased online from the club’s official retail website now by CLICK HERE and from the Bradford City Store on South Parade when it opens tomorrow (Friday) at 9.00am.

A throwback to the 1970s, the kit is inspired by a similar look first introduced by the Bantams some 50 years ago. The shirt is white with solitary and amber stripes down the middle and claret and amber shoulders, each bearing a retro ‘BC’ wordmark sublimated into the fabric.

Major club partners JCT600 and Bradford University take pride of place, printed on the front and back respectively, with Macron branding on the front and the aforementioned shoulder patches and Flamingo Land on the left sleeve of each playing and replica shirt . The (non-replica) playing shirts carry a nod to Bradford 2025 with the ‘UK City of Culture’ under the flag.

The white shorts carry a tonal crest and sublimated ‘BC’ wordmark on the amber and claret panels, with Regal Foods again appearing at the back. The socks are white, finished with amber and purple piping and the wordmark “BCAFC”.

Launched alongside a 70s-inspired video, the ‘It’s a Retro Thing’ campaign sees men’s first-team players Brad Halliday, Ciarán Kelly and Clarke Oduor alongside Bradford City women Mia Jacobs and Aaliyah Nolan, former men’s Ian Cooper and Jimmy Cuthbertson and representatives from the club’s main partner Bradford College.

The jersey has again been made from lightweight and tear-resistant Macron Eco-Exalock, a 100% recycled polyester thread certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

In particular, the back is made of Eco Micromesh: a breathable technical fabric, specially designed for playing sets with 100% recycled polyester threads. It is comfortable due to its softness and elasticity.

Eco Mesh side inserts give this fabric maximum breathability and lightness, thanks to the micro-perforated construction.

A rubberized, tonal crest of the club – complete with a star marking their 1911 FA Cup triumph – is pressed onto a panel which is embroidered into the shirt, which appears on the front alongside the Macron logo.

The back of the shirt is completed by a traditional black ribbon, which pays tribute to the lives tragically lost in the Valley Parade fire disaster of 11 May 1985.

The band are set to make their debut in the Bantams’ pre-season trip to Scunthorpe United on Saturday 13 July. Tickets for this match can be purchased by CLICK HERE.
