There are reports of motorists stuck in unexpected delays near Truro this afternoon – due to a bull and cow mating in the middle of the road. A number of motorists have contacted CornwallLive to say the copulating cattle have brought traffic to a standstill.

One driver says: “Massive delays there as a cow and bull s******g on the road and a caravan can’t be overtaken.”

Another said: “Beware the bull and cow are getting naughty causing delays on the main road in Truro causing major queues. No one can be outdone.”

He said delays are currently “several miles” long on a back road, but the exact location is currently unclear.

A number of road works are taking place in the Truro area. Inrix is ​​currently reporting slow traffic on Tregolls Road between Trafalgar Roundabout and Tregurra Park and Ride. Travel time is ten minutes.
