Preview: Norwich City vs Leeds United

The Whites travel to Norfolk for the first leg of the play-off semi-finals.

Leeds United kick off their Sky Bet Championship play-off campaign with a trip to face Norwich City at Carrow Road in the first leg of their semi-final on Sunday.

As the regular season drew to a close last weekend, the Whites’ tally of 90 points saw them finish third in the league standings, 17 points clear of the sixth-placed Canaries.

United’s latest visit to Norfolk proved to be a very welcome return for Daniel Farke to his former employers, where Leeds fought back from 2-0 down at half-time to run out 3-2 winners.

Dan James began the stunning comeback when his cross was turned away by the retreating Shane Duffy, before Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season Crysencio Summerville leveled proceedings with a stunning curling effort from the edge of the area.

The Dutch winger’s scintillating form continued and he would grab the winner five minutes from time, running onto Georginio Rutter’s pass in his own half, breaking into the area and slotting home into the far corner.
