Heavy traffic with long delays on M25 in Surrey due to crash

Traffic on the M25 anti-clockwise in Surrey, near Wisley, has stopped due to an accident.

The motorway was closed between J11 Addlestone and J10 Wisley from 2.30pm today (6 May).

National Highways confirmed on X (@HighwaysSEAST), officially known as Twitter, that three of the four lanes are closed.

He added that traffic officers, Surrey Fire and Rescue and ambulance crews were dealing with the incident.

There is heavy congestion on the approach, causing long delays in the area, according to the AA.

It is not known when all traffic restrictions will be lifted.

The full AA Maps statement said: “Long delays and two lane closures due to crash on M25 anti-clockwise from J11 A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey) to J10 A3 (Wisley Interchange).
