Barnet Aqua Disco is helping disabled children stay active

Designed for children with complex disabilities, a water disco with lighting, inflatable props and Taylor Swift songs, which is claimed to be the first of its kind, has been set up at a leisure center in north London.

The sessions in Barnet, run by national charity Sense, are about having fun and creating a safe and inclusive space where children can develop and have fun.

The disco helps children get active, stay healthy and socialize and has proved so popular that the charity wants to create more sessions across London.
