Man accused of rape and wounding with intent, after “paramedics closed the house”

A man from Black Country is due to appear in court next month accused of multiple crimes. Gurwinder Singh was charged with wounding with intent, assault by beating, rape and coercive control.

West Midlands Police say the 36-year-old defendant is due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month. Singh was remanded in custody before appearing in court.



A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Gurwinder Singh, 36, from Walsall, has been charged with a number of offenses including wounding with intent, assault by beating, rape and coercive control. Singh was remanded in custody to appear in Wolverhampton. Crown Court next month.”
