Leicester City boss Steve Cooper is prioritizing Ndidi’s stay

Cooper, confirmed as the club’s new manager last week, is focused on keeping the core of the squad together, with Ndidi a key player.

Ndidi’s current contract with Leicester City expires at the end of this month and he has been linked with several other clubs.

Although the club offered him a new contract, the Midfielder has yet to decide on his future.

According to Filbert Way sources, Cooper has scheduled a meeting with Ndidi next week to discuss his decision. The manager sees Ndidi as a valuable asset and is keen for him to stay.

Wilfred Ndidi, who has been a crucial defensive midfielder for Leicester City since 2017, will soon reveal his decision on whether to stay at the club.

He helped the club win the English FA Cup and the Community Shield.
