Five police vehicles at the scene, off Bradford’s busy road

FIVE police vehicles are at the scene on a busy road in Bradford.

The Telegraph & Argus noted the police presence near Leeds Road, near its junction with Rushton Road, at around 4.15pm today.

A member of the public, who wished to remain anonymous, said officers had been there since early yesterday afternoon.

An officer was at the scene today guarding the entrance to the area, with a police car and a large squad car.

Workers were going about their business as normal in and around the area police were focusing on.

When T&A drove by around 10 minutes later, there were still two police vans parked as well as a police car.

There did not appear to be a police cordon.

The T&A contacted West Yorkshire Police’s duty inspector for details but was told the press office would be able to comment tomorrow.
