They’re on the hunt for a mysterious Birmingham gunman after a fatal parking lot party shooting

Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of two men at a Manchester car park party “strongly believe” the killer is from Birmingham. More than 300 people were at the party in Moss Side on June 21, 2020, when Junior Ajose, 36, and Cheriff Tall, 21, were shot dead.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said in a renewed appeal that vital evidence is needed to bring the suspect who used the firearm and investigators believe the person has links to Birmingham and is not from the local Manchester community.

Mancun police force went all out saying anyone who helps police will not be “a weed” and reminded potential witnesses of the £50,000 reward launched last year for key information leading to a discovery and conviction the criminal. .

GMP Detective Chief Inspector Neil Higginson added that the local Manchester community “shouldn’t be protecting” the Brummie suspect. The force said it is working tirelessly with dedicated and specialist detectives to get answers for the families of Junior and Sheriff.

No one has ever been charged in their deaths. Greater Manchester Police launched a renewed appeal on June 21, four years after the fatal shootings.

A GMP spokesman said: “The shooting claimed the lives of both Junior Ajose, 36, and Sheriff Tall, 21, in the early hours of Sunday 21 June 2020 in a car park on Caythorpe Street in Moss Side.
