Gogglebox star announces pregnancy – and Ellie and Izzi Warner are over the moon

Gogglebox Ellie and Izzi Warner sent sweet messages to their co-star after she announced her pregnancy.

Georgia Bell, who stars in the hit Channel 4 series alongside best friend Abbie, has revealed she is expecting her second child with partner Josh Newby. The star revealed that she is due to give birth in November.

Announcing the happy news to her fans, she took to Instagram and shared a series of sweet photos, including one of her scan and one of her cutting a gender reveal cake. However, she remained tight-lipped about the gender of her baby.

The comments section was flooded with sweet messages from famous fans and friends. Fellow Gogglebox cast members Ellie and Izzi Warner were quick to offer their congratulations.

Izzi Warner wrote: “Oh such a cute post! Congratulations.” And her sister Ellie also expressed her delight: “Wonderful news! Congratulations.”

@boujiekids commented: “Congratulations!! Buzzed for you all.” @sarahm09 said: “Awwwwwwwh omg congrats everyone.”

It came as the star was previously attacked after her first birth, when trolls accused her of bragging about how easy her labor was. At the time, she took to Instagram and told fans: “Work for five hours. Push 20 minutes”. The post drew some criticism from followers, and Georgia later took to social media and defended herself.

She wrote: “I’m a little sick of the pain I’m in after posting this yesterday. In no way did I brag about having an ‘easy birth’, it wasn’t like that at all.”

Georgia also opened up about the realities of childbirth, sharing details of the “intense” pain she felt. She said: “So for those wondering, I was induced the night before and my waters broke the next morning at 7am and Hugh was in my arms at 12.31am.

“I must add that I was also on hormone drips and participated in research to see how much the dose of hormones would reduce the risk of a c-section, so let me tell you, the contractions were intense.

“I was having eight mega contractions every 10 minutes and suddenly he came. It was down to the higher dose of hormones why things happened so fast, which yes is great, but very painful when you’re just gas and air, which I thought was a hoot. and it didn’t make any difference, I ripped ridiculously so I needed a lot of stitches.”
