Sebastian Bialecki wins PDC Development Tour 15 in Wigan

Sebastian Bialecki ended the third tournament weekend of the PDC Development Tour by winning his fifteenth PDC Development Tour tournament. It is the fifth title on the Development Tour for Poland.

Bialecki easily reached the quarter-finals of the tournament by conceding just four legs in the first five matches. He defeated James Buckby (4-1), Jonas Stagg (4-0), Nathan Care (4-1), Leighton Bennett (4-0) and Bradly Roes (4-2).

After that, it became much more difficult for “Bolt”. Adam Gawlas was beaten 5-3 in the quarterfinals, which was followed by wins over Tavis Dudeney (5-4) and Levy Frauenfelder (5-4) for the title.

The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open to players between the ages of 16 and 23. Players who turn 24 during the season may continue to compete.

At each development tournament, there is a £15,000 prize pool to be shared. With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the World Championship of Darts, plus a Tour Card for 2025 and 2026. The winner of the ranking can also compete in the Grand Slam of Darts.
