NHEHS Environment and Sustainability Officer Ms Cassar, who organized the summit, said: “Having the opportunity to bring our local community together to share knowledge and ideas about climate action was the highlight of my year.”

Mrs Cassar added: “The girls and boys of Ealing have really shown that they are an inspiration for our future and I’m excited to see where they go next. The Eco Summit highlighted that we have a wonderful local group of students and teachers who share a vision of environmental education, along with taking meaningful action for our natural world.”

Natalie Bayliss, Green Schools Network Co-ordinator for ActForEaling, commented: “The summit was a fabulous interactive experience which brought together pupils from several schools in the borough. Students learned about the challenges of climate change, but more importantly, discovered the power of collaboration in creating a greener and more sustainable future. This is exactly the kind of solution-focused activity that will benefit all communities in Ealing. An inspiring event for all.”
