CCTV issued after man assaulted by two men in Coventry

Police have issued a CCTV image of a person they want to speak to after a man was assaulted in Coventry. It happened on St Georges Road in Stoke.

A man, who has not been named, was on St Georges Road when he was approached by two men and assaulted, Coventry Police said. It happened around 7pm on Tuesday 21st May.

Detectives have released an image of one of the suspects, with inquiries ongoing to identify the second person involved. Anyone who recognizes the man pictured has been urged to call 101.

A Coventry Police spokesman said: “Do you recognize this man? We are looking to speak to him after an attack in Coventry. If you recognize him, call us on 101 or Live Chat quoting 20/509501/24.”
