Under-21s to find out their 2024/25 Bristol Street Motors Trophy opponents

Wolves under-21s will discover their group stage opponents in the 2024/25 Bristol Street Motors Trophy on Thursday afternoon.

Old Gold are once again one of 16 Category 1 Academy teams invited to compete against League One and League Two opposition.

The draw for the group stages will be live on Sky Sports News on Thursday 27th June from 14.30.

All 64 teams will enter the first round and will be divided into 16 regional groups of four teams, eight in the North region and eight in the South region. The 16 invited under-21 teams will be placed in their northern and southern regional groups, with the 48 EFL clubs placed in predetermined groups prior to the draw.

Last season, James Collins’ side crashed out in the group stage despite opening their campaign with a 2-1 win at Notts County thanks to goals from Owen Hesketh and Nathan Fraser.
