Eurovision 2024 final: Ireland’s Bambie Thug performance compared to ‘exorcism’

As the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 final gets under way, a unique performance by contestant Bambie Thug, representing Ireland, has been branded “a bit crazy” and likened to scenes from a horror film.

Fans of the pageant took to X (Twitter) after the 31-year-old Irish performer took to the stage for his ninth performance of the night. Following performances in Estonia, Spain, Lithuania, Isreal and more, the theatrical performance has been compared to an exorcism.

One of the favorites to win, however, the Macroom-born star’s unique and spectacular performance did not go unnoticed. And while it was clearly too much for some, others had nothing but praise saying the act was ‘one to watch’ for taking home the Eurovision 2024 crown tonight.
