Barnet drivers will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the national motorway network this week.

And all are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest list of expected works, with notes from National Highways, shows that a closure already in place is expected to continue this week:

M1from 28 May to 5.30am to 30 June, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 5 to junction 1, Lane and carriageway closures for surface works, diversion on local authority roads.

And two more closures will begin in the next two weeks:

M1from 24 June to 25 June 22:00, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 5 to junction 1, Lane, carriageway and slip road closure for urgent repairs of roadworthy

A1from 10pm on 8 July until 6am, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A1(M) northbound, junction 1 to junction 3, lane closures, slip road closures and carriageway closures for concrete repair works, diversion through national highways and local authority roads.

National Highways is responsible for the maintenance of motorways and major A roads, so smaller road closures will not be included in their programme.
