Manhunt for woman brutally robbed on Huddersfield Street

A woman was attacked near a shop on an estate in Huddersfield.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the brutal attack, in which a woman was attacked and robbed by a man and another woman between 9pm and 9.30pm on Sunday 23 June. It happened in Keldregate, just outside the Premier store.




Police are particularly interested in hearing from anyone in the Keldergate, Crawthorne Crescent, Colne Hirst or North Way areas of the estate and are urging them to come forward. In a brief statement, a spokesman for the force said: “Huddersfield Police are appealing for witnesses or CCTV footage following a robbery in Deighton at the weekend.

“The incident happened on Keldregate, close to the Premier store, between 9pm and 9.30pm on Sunday evening (23/6). A woman was attacked and robbed by a man and a woman.

“Anyone who saw the incident or who may have CCTV footage which could be linked to it, particularly in Keldergate, Crawthorne Crescent, Colne Hirst or North Way, to contact West Yorkshire Police.”
