Glastonbury Festival 2024: Farm shops, cafes and petrol stations on the road from Bristol

If you’re driving to Glastonbury Festival this week, you may be planning your route as you head to the ‘world’s biggest music festival’.

From the songs you’ll be listening to, to where you might need to stop for gas, and even where you might tuck into a delicious meal – or pick up some last-minute supplies. There’s a lot to learn besides where you’ll camp and who you’ll see when you get there.




One of the most popular routes to get from Bristol to Worthy Farm is on the A37. In addition to this, you’ll find a farm store or two, gas stations and other stations.

Farrington’s Farm Shop & Cafe

Located on Main Street in Farrington Gurney, this farm shop and cafe is open from 9am to 5pm (until 4pm on Sundays), with food served in the cafe daily from 9am to 11.30am and 12pm: 00-15:30 (15:00 Sunday). As well as a farm shop, there is also a deli, butcher and shopping village which is full of independent shops and lounges and sits between the cafe, indoor play and farm shop.

The Soap Bar Cafe

Soap Bar Cafe is located on Upper Bristol Road, Clutton and is open from 9am to 4pm (closed Sundays) – booking is recommended if you want to sit in. It offers light lunches including paninis, tarts and frittatas along with fresh homemade cakes every day. You can even get a cream tea (though you have to book 48 hours in advance).
