Former Liverpool FC player Michael Owen sends heartfelt message after special family update

Michael Owen has been inundated with support as he celebrates a special marriage update.

The former Liverpool FC striker is happily in a relationship with his wife, Louise, and the two are the proud parents of four children. Their eldest child, Gemma Owen, is famous for her role in the 2022 edition of Love Island, when she finished in second place.

The England international regularly shares updates from his happy family life on Instagram. He took to the social media platform today to reveal that it is a special day for the family as it is their 19th wedding anniversary.

The 44-year-old shared a selection of snaps with his 490,000 followers alongside Louise with the caption: ‘Happy birthday @louise_owen80 19, still going strong…….”

Louise took the comments to heart and replied: “I love you always and forever.” Jamie Carragher’s wife Nicola added: “Happy birthday.”

Other followers took to the comments to wish the couple well on their special day. Rob said, “Happy birthday, both of you.”

Jess added: “Happy birthday Mr and Mrs Owen. I hope you have a wonderful day. Enjoy the day.”
