Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Here’s What Could Be

To face the city

In recent months, there has been a lot of talk about the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. This model was recently spotted during some road tests in India, giving enthusiasts a first look at its technical features. The Guerrilla 450 shares the engine with the Himalayan 450, it is a 450 cc single cylinder with dual overhead cam distribution capable of delivering a maximum power of 40 PS and 40 Nm of torque. We then find other absolute innovations for the Indian manufacturer: six-speed gearbox and electronic acceleration and dual mapping. Instead, the chassis should come from the Himalayan but revised for more road use and should be paired with adjustable suspension.

Will it be so?

Indian designer Pratyush Rout has already imagined what the final version of this bike could look like, based on images taken of the prototypes during testing. Its sketches (below and in the gallery) offer an interesting glimpse of what we might expect from the Guerrilla 450. Pending an official announcement from Royal Enfield, the most credible guess is that the Guerrilla 450 could be unveiled at EICMA in November.
