A man has laid charges after his car knocked down three people in Coventry

A MAN has been charged after three people were knocked down and injured by a car in Coventry.

West Midlands Police were called to Coronation Road, Hillsfield, just after 1.10am on Sunday (June 23).

The car hit two women and a man, then the driver fled the scene.

The victims were not seriously injured.

Patrik Pohlodko, from Coventry, has now been charged with two counts of wounding and attempted grievous bodily harm.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today.
