When are Birmingham City’s League One 2024/2025 fixtures released

Chris Davies is preparing for a huge challenge in his first job as a manager as he takes on the task of bringing Birmingham City back to the Championship.

Davies took charge at St Andrew’s following their relegation to League One and will welcome back the players for pre-season at the start of July, ready for a huge few months ahead.




It’s guaranteed to be a very different season in the EFL and otherwise, thanks to a new deal with Sky Sports which means Birmingham will be televised live at least 20 times. Five League One and League Two matches will be broadcast live each weekend, as well as all opening day, final day and midweek matches, plus matches played on bank holidays including Easter, Boxing Day and Boxing Day. The campaign will run on the weekend of August 10th until May 3rd. There will be 46 rounds of league games played across 33 weekends, nine midweek and four bank holidays in the Championship. Leagues One and Two will play 36 weekends and six midweek games. The League Cup and Football League Trophy will continue with the same formats as last season. The Carabao Cup will be launched in mid-August. Meanwhile, the play-off final will take place on the 2025 May bank holiday weekend.

The new fixture list will be announced on Wednesday 26 June at 9am. It will be published live on BirminghamLive.

TV selections for all matches to be played before the end of September will be confirmed by 1 July, within seven days of the fixtures being announced.
