A man running on the A38 sparks a major emergency response

A man who was seen running along the A38 was found and taken into the care of medics. A large emergency service response was reported in Glynn Valley yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, June 25).

Police were called at around 11.40am to reports of concern for the welfare of a man on the A38. It was established that the man was running along the motorway at Bodmin.




An eyewitness told CornwallLive that a number of emergency vehicles were in the area. They said: “4 police cars, forensics, 2 ambulances in a bungalow just up Bodmin crematorium. At the moment, the ambulance was telling people to move on, but there was a large presence of emergency services.”

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed there were no forensic officers at the scene. They said: “Police were called to the Glynn Valley area of ​​Bodmin at around 11.40am on Tuesday, June 25 following reports of concern for a man’s welfare.

“The man was reported to be running along the A38. The man was located safely and taken to the care of doctors.”
