Royal Enfield has sent out invites for the media run of the Guerilla 450. The media run will be held in Spain in the second week of July. Royal Enfield might launch the bike at the media race or right after the ride. So, we expect the brand to reveal all the details by the end of July. After Guerrilla 450, Royal Enfield is expected to bring several new bikes including Classic 650, Interceptor 650, Scram 440 etc.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 – What else do we know?

The Guerilla will be the second model to be based on its 450cc engine. Earlier spy photos suggested a more aggressive yet road-oriented design for the Guerrilla 450. The Guerilla 450 will also be lighter than the Himalayan, making it more nimble in traffic. This is also expected to give it better efficiency compared to the Himalayan.

Specifications

The Guerilla will share its 450cc engine with the Himalayan 450. The brand calls this engine the ‘Sherpa 450’, which produces 39bhp and 40Nm of peak torque. Also, this engine’s 40Nm of torque is the highest for any single-cylinder engine. This engine is expected to come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Guerilla will sit below the Himalayan 450 in the brand’s lineup. That’s because it’s not an ADV, and it misses out on a few premium elements that the Himalayan offers, like USD front forks, bigger wheels, and all the off-road tech. Currently, the top-end variant of the Himalayan is priced at Rs 3.71 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). For the Guerilla, we expect it to drop to Rs 3.30 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
