BSA Gold Star vs Royal Enfield Interceptor Specs Comparison – Bike News

The soon to be launched BSA Gold Star will compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Here’s how they compare.

As far as motorcycle comparisons go, BSA and Royal Enfield have a history and a battle that is more than 100 years old. Now, with Classic Legends reviving the BSA brand and bringing back the famous Gold Star name, this sparks competition between the two former British brands. Here’s a quick comparison on how the two bikes compare.

BSA Gold Star vs Royal Enfield Interceptor: Design and Features

In terms of design, both the bikes get a classic retro design that involves full metal bodywork. The BSA Gold Star gets a classic round headlight, twin-bridge instrument console, telescopic forks, spoked wheels, classic fork guards, full fenders, a flat, one-piece seat, disc brakes at both ends with ABS with two channels, a USB charger and a slipper clutch.

Coming to the Royal Enfield Interceptor, the bike features a very similar design language but with shorter fenders, giving it a sleeker look. Other components are similar too, apart from the alloy wheels offered on the Interceptor instead of the spoked wheels that the Gold Star gets. So in terms of design and features both are similar.
