Gunfire terror as shots were fired at property in Bartley Green

An investigation is underway after shots were fired at a property in Bartley Green. Firearms officers were called to Ox Leasow after an address was left damaged in the attack.

It is understood the incident happened at around 1.30am today, Wednesday June 26, and no one was injured. Police sealed off a stretch of road and an alley.



Anyone with information was asked to contact police. Patrols in the area have been intensified.

A statement from West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating after a gun was fired at an address in Ox Leasow, Bartley Green, today (June 26). We have been alerted that damage has been caused to a property.

“It is understood to have happened at around 1.30am and no one was injured. We are investigating and reviewing CCTV opportunities as we seek to establish who was involved and why.
