General Election 2024 poll tracker: latest opinion polls ahead of July 4 vote

The people of the United Kingdom will go to the polls on July 4 to decide who they want to form the next government.

Rishi Sunak, leader of the Conservative Party and current prime minister, called the election in May as he faced huge pressure on his leadership. He stood in the pouring rain outside Downing Street and announced that the vote would take place on July 4.

Sunak’s Conservatives face an uphill battle to pull back his support after several years of scandals and disasters – and there have been a few more this election campaign.

Sir Keir Starmer’s Labor Party is looking to win a large majority and form a government if current polls are to be believed. The party has maintained a double-digit lead over their rivals for some time.

Reform Britain, which was launched as the Brexit Party under Nigel Farage in 2018, is the third most popular party after Mr Farage returned to the polls to lead the party and stand at this election.

Ahead of the election, we’re tracking key opinion polls to help our readers stay informed about who’s leading the way in the race for the keys to Number 10 Downing Street.
