Leicester teenager, 15, missing from home prompts urgent call to police

UPDATE – Leicestershire Police confirmed on Wednesday morning (June 26) that Abdurrahman had been found safe. They thanked everyone who shared the appeal.

Police are appealing for the public’s help in finding a missing 15-year-old boy. Abdurrahman Hashim was reported missing from Woodland Road, Leicester, at around 7.30pm on Tuesday (June 25).

Leicestershire Police said he was last seen at around 5pm but did not return home. Officers and his family are concerned about Abdurrahman’s welfare. Police are now appealing for anyone who saw him to come forward.

The teenager is approximately 5ft 8in tall, of medium build with dark brown hair. He is believed to be wearing a dark gray t-shirt and jogging bottoms and light gray trainers.

Leicestershire Police said: “Anyone who has seen him or knows where he is is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 720 of June 25.”
