Bag policy for Foo Fighters at Villa Park, including a surprising banned item

The Foo Fighters bring their Everything Or Nothing At All tour to Birmingham’s Villa Park Stadium on Thursday 27 June. The Birmingham date is part of a huge US and UK tour – including seven dates in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Cardiff and Birmingham.

The Everything Or Nothing At All tour kicked off in Dallas on May 1st – and their first UK date is at Manchester’s Emirates Old Trafford on Thursday June 13th. The shows will mark Foo Fighters’ first UK tour without late drummer Taylor Hawkins. , who died in March 2022 at the age of 50.

There are a number of security rules you need to know if you go, including a strict baggage policy. We have all the details below.

Bag policy

Villa Park Stadium has a strict baggage policy. All bags must comply with the rules set by the stadium or they will not be allowed inside.

Any large bags will not be allowed in the event, but you are allowed to take small bags with you. Villa Park classifies small bags as no larger than 35 x 40 x 19 cm.

Luggage can be searched upon arrival.

Prohibited items

No professional cameras or recording equipment will be allowed at Villa Park Stadium for the Foo Fighters show on June 27.

You will not be allowed to bring your own food or drink into the venue. Searches will take place at the point of entry and concertgoers will be asked to dispose of food or drink prior to entry.

Villa Park states: “If customers have a medical condition that requires specific dietary requirements, please contact the venue prior to arrival to obtain permission to bring those products, otherwise they will be confiscated upon entry.”

If we are unlucky with the weather on June 27, unfortunately umbrellas are not allowed inside the stadium. Villa Park suggests you bring a raincoat or disposable raincoat instead.

The Villa Park Stadium website adds: “Any item that could be used as a weapon, any person deemed offensive or abusive or likely to compromise public safety will be reported to the police.”

Flag poles or banner sticks are prohibited. Although banners of a certain size are not prohibited, please always be aware of other concertgoers as you may block their view.
