Local blood donor clinic planned next month

Canadian Blood Services is holding a donation clinic this summer in Bradford.

The clinic is on July 17 and will take place at the Church of the Holy Martyrs of Japan in Essa Street no. 167. It will take place between 2 and 7 p.m.

Appointments can be made online, through the GiveBlood app or by calling 1-888-236-6283.

The summer months often mean a change in routine for people in Canada as we enjoy outdoor activities, travel and long weekend adventures. But patients still need the help of donors and are grateful for their generosity. Incorporate the donation into your summer plans and feel good about helping someone in your community.

Eligibility requirements for giving blood are changing, meaning those who may not have been eligible to give blood in the past may now be able to.
