The M6 ​​near Coventry has reopened after 15 hours of closure following a lorry and car crash

Part of the M6 ​​was closed for 15 hours following a lorry and car crash, which resulted in a large diesel spill. Junctions two to four northbound only reopened less than an hour ago this morning, June 27.

This happened almost 15 hours after the collision. National Highways West Midlands explained the situation in an updated post on X, formerly known as Twitter. He explained that due to the diesel spill following the collision, the road had to be resurfaced.

This meant that the area between Junction 2 and Junction 2 had to be completely closed just before midnight. But now it has been reopened.

“The road is now reopening following emergency resurfacing work overnight to repair damage caused by a large diesel spill following a collision yesterday,” National Highways said. – No delays.
