Leeds United will likely have to sell Crysencio Summerville in this window, but the fee they receive is potentially set to rise by over £40m.

The Whites return to pre-season next week and some high-profile names are expected for the first day of training under Daniel Farke.

Crysencio Summerville is one of those and while he may not be here for his first kick-off of the season, there is still a lot to happen for the winger’s likely transfer.

Crysencio Summerville revealed pricing information

Premier League interest has already been rife for the Dutch winger, unsurprisingly after winning the Championship’s Player of the Season award for 23/24.

The club is in a good position, it seems, to withstand the best possible charge with Summerville, which is a stark contrast to how the 49ers had to navigate last summer’s notable exits.

Happy to have Aaronson back?

Journalist Ben Jacobs believes the Whites could be eyeing a fee in excess of £40m for the winger.

He spoke to GiveMeSport about the prospect of the 22-year-old leaving in the coming weeks:

“He (Summerville) didn’t fuss or push for a move in the middle of the season when he was linked with a variety of clubs and the price Leeds will eventually sell him for will be too good for anyone to don’t come and it will be absolutely stunning if there is no offer for Summerville.

“Of course Leeds’ valuation can stretch beyond £40m. Suitors are probably hoping for more at £30-35m. But the reality is whether it’s 30 or whether it’s over 40 in the current and quite inflated market, it’s still a great investment for a player who was the EFL Player of the Season last campaign.”

Summerville will leave Leeds for a huge fee

It’s inevitable that Summerville will leave the club, it was pretty obvious from the moment Southampton beat us at Wembley in the play-off final.

He was too good to be in the Championship in the first place, and sticking around for a second season just wasn’t going to happen.

That said, the fee we get for him should be huge as we rebuild this summer and make our squad much more balanced.
