Norwich City v Leeds United kick-off time and TV channel

Norwich City and Leeds United face off in the first semi-final of the Championship play-offs this lunchtime.

The Whites head into the last four no doubt with a touch of disappointment after missing out on automatic promotion to Ipswich Town, who were promoted as runners-up to Leicester City.

However, Daniel Farke and his men will have to put those feelings aside today as they head to Carrow Road to face his former side, the East Anglia Canaries.

The other semi-final – between West Bromwich Albion and Southampton – takes place later this afternoon. First up, here’s everything you need to know about the first clash of the day.

What did the managers say?

David Wagner: “There are no secrets, they know everything about us, we know everything about them in terms of the tactical approach, individuals, as a team. Had they beaten QPR, they could now walk away with the promotion bonus in their pocket.

“Our focus is on our team, on our situation, that’s what matters to me. We’ve played them twice, we’ve had two low-level defeats. Does that matter for Sunday? No. What does it mean we know everything about the opponent. It’s fair to say Leeds are favourites, it doesn’t mean we can’t be competitive, it doesn’t mean we can’t win.”

Daniel Farke: “I trust my players. It’s not about me. It’s not about playing chess with the opponent’s manager. In a crunch game like this, it’s the players who decide things. The managers are there to support them and- support them and prepare them as best as possible. This game will not be won or lost by great decisions on the touchline.

“The season doesn’t matter now. It’s a new competition. Two wins against Norwich doesn’t matter. We had 46 games to win the play-off place. It’s good, but it’s a new competition and we have to focus now rather than the past”.
