WWE and Manchester City launch an exclusive product collaboration

WWE lands another big merchandising deal.

Manchester City issued a press release this afternoon to announce a collaboration with WWE to produce a new collection of six new jerseys. The following WWE Superstars now have Manchester City jerseys for sale:

• Roman Reigns
• Cm Punk
• Stone Cold Steve Austin
• John Cena
• Becky Lynch

The sixth shirt is just a generic WWE shirt.

Manchester City’s Director of Integrated Fan Experience and Retail and Licensing, Serena Gosling, had the following to say about the new collaboration.

“We are excited to announce today the launch of our exclusive retail partnership with WWE,” said Serena Gosling. “As a club, we are always exploring new ways to improve our retail offering for our fans around the globe, and collaborations like this with WWE are part of that ongoing strategy. In addition, today’s announcement provides another touch point for our fans in the US and beyond to engage with the club ahead of the visit of the men’s first team this summer.”
