Wigan Farm’s therapy donkey gets life-changing orthopedic boots

A rescue donkey who has weak hooves stepped ‘nervously’ on grass with new life-changing orthopedic boots.

Greenslate Community Farm in Billinge, Wigan, raised hundreds of pounds to give Freddie, who works as a therapy donkey, new shoes.

It means that Freddie is no longer locked in the stables.

Rhiannon Jones from the community farm said the boots gave Freddie a “magical playground”.
