Spectacular outdoor circus to hit Bedworth town center this weekend – and it’s free

An outdoor circus spectacular will hit Bedworth town center this weekend. It will bring “gravity-defying acrobats” to the grassy area next to Church Walk.

The free ‘spectacular’ takes place tonight (Friday June 28) and tomorrow night (Saturday June 29) at 7pm, with a 2pm performance on Sunday afternoon (June 30). It is open for anyone to go.




Entitled ‘The Coming of The Gaels’, the show is the brainchild of Milesians, a group brought together by Circolombia and Imagineer, supported by Bedworth Civic Hall, local communities and emerging artists.

Katie Memetovic-Bye, Deputy Director of Recreation and Culture at Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, said: “We are delighted to welcome Circolombia to the borough with an exciting project involving professional contemporary circus artists, local early years professionals and members of the organization. local community as part of our Summer Events 2024 programme.”

Kathi Leahy, Artistic Director for Milesians, added: “We are delighted to be working alongside skilled and talented young people from the borough who will bring their creativity, passion and energy to telling this story and making this outdoor show happen. .”

Further details of the council’s 2024 summer event schedule have yet to be revealed.
