Scottish cloud services specialist opens Manchester base

Brightsolid, Scotland’s most established cloud services company has expanded its operations to Manchester.

The company was established more than 25 years ago as part of the DC Thompson Group and at the time was the only dedicated and fully managed hybrid cloud services company in Scotland.

The client list includes Shell, Aberdeenshire Council, Albert Bartlett, Capita and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.

Until now, it has been based in two offices in Dundee and Aberdeen, but has now opened a third in central Manchester.

Alan Gardiner, Brightsolid’s commercial director, explained that the new base would help it grow its portfolio:

“The new Manchester office will look to collaborate with public and private sector organizations across the North of England, while spearheading the expansion of our service offering across the UK.”
