Aer Lingus passengers are facing more disruption as a further 122 flights have been cancelled

Aer Lingus has canceled a further 122 flights from Wednesday to Sunday next week due to indefinite industrial action announced by pilots. The airline said it understood customers’ anxiety and would offer them alternative options.


It said: “In order to continue to protect as many services as possible from the impact of the ongoing industrial action at Ialpa, Aer Lingus has had to take the step of canceling an additional 122 flights between Wednesday 3 July and Sunday 7 July. 7 (including implementing these cancellations is to enable us to protect as many services as possible for as many of our customers as possible).



“These cancellations will be implemented today and details will be communicated to affected customers. Details of the affected services are presented on the Travel Advisory page of aerlingus.com. Customers affected by these latest cancellations between July 3rd and July 7th will be notified. the option to change their flights for free. They will also be able to request a refund or voucher.

“These options will be communicated directly to affected customers as well as travel agents, while the Aer Lingus Travel Advisory page will also have up-to-date information on all options. Aer Lingus fully understands the anxiety experienced by incoming customers. the uncertainty caused by Ialpa’s industrial action and offers affected customers as many options as possible.”
