C. Thomas Howell and Michelle Hurd Join Romantic Western ‘Where The Wind Blows’

EXCLUSIVE: C. Thomas Howell (SEAL team) and Michelle Hurd (Star Trek: Picard) have signed on to star alongside Trevor Donovan and Ashley Elaine in where the wind blowsa romantic western based on USA Today the best-selling novel by Caroline Fyffe.

Shot this summer in Montana, the film follows Chase (Donovan), a rugged cowboy and lonely drifter who closed his heart long ago – until the day he impulsively does a favor for a beautiful young woman (Elaine ), and everything changes to three. days.

John Schimke will direct from his script co-written with Fyffe and Mike Maden. The producers are Schimke, Ashley Elaine and Don Paul with AE Productions, Inc. and Brandon Smith and Eden Matson of Nova Vento Entertainment. Ricki Maslar, CSA handles casting.

Previously seen in films such as The outsiders, Extraterrestrial ETs and Red DawnHowell was most recently seen on shows like SEAL team and wipedalongside movies like the Netflix comedy Old daddies directed by and starring Bill Burr. He will next be seen starring in Sean McNamara’s historical drama Reagan.

Known for her role as Raffi Musiker Star Trek: PicardHurd also held major roles in series such as Blind spot, Hawaii Five-0, Daredevil, clearingsand Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, among others. Most recently seen in Sony’s hit novel Anyone but youher other most recent film credits include indies Kemble and Inheritance. Past film credits include Bad hair, Being Frank and The girl, most likelyto name a few.
