Coventry’s only dance club confirms plans to move

Coventry’s only dance club has revealed plans to move. Club Heat has been based in City Arcade in the city center for years,

But an application to the city council revealed the gentleman’s club is set to move. Ace Coventry Limited applied for a license for a place of sexual entertainment at 2 Hertford Place, Coventry.

This is because the current dance club, which was the home of the old one, has to move. The app explains that it “needs to move due to mandatory purchase. This application is as a result of the move.”

It states that the license is for “Lap dance, pole dance, strip tease and similar entertainment, on stage and in exclusive dance areas”. It says it will be open Monday through Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

The application was subject to a public consultation, which ended at the end of last month. The council will now make a decision on whether the application is accepted.

The City Arcade is one of the parts of the city center to be redeveloped as part of the City Center South scheme.
