Liverpool have found the perfect replacement for Alisson transfer, with £25m star ‘ready to listen’ to offer

Liverpool remain interested in a potential move for Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento this summer.

The Reds could be looking to add another goalkeeper to their squad if Caoimhin Kelleher is allowed to leave and Adrian does not sign a new contract. Kelleher has been linked with a move away from the Reds in search of regular first-team football, while Adrian is out of contract at the end of June.

Bento is someone who has been mentioned as a target for Liverpool after impressing since joining Athletico Paranaense. He made 163 first-team appearances for the club and even made his senior debut in Brazil earlier this year, excelling in a 1-0 win over England at Wembley.

And Globo Esporte report that Liverpool are still interested in Bento and are keeping an eye on his situation this summer. Bento’s childhood dream is to join Inter Milan who are keen to sign the goalkeeper. The Serie A side submitted a bid of £12.7m but this has since been rejected.

Inter are now working on a deal for Genoa goalkeeper Josep Martinez. It is said that this could encourage Liverpool and Porto to jump to the front of the queue and make a move for Bento. It was claimed that both his representatives and Athletico Paranaense “will now listen to other proposals” for Bento.

If there are no offers, Bento will continue with Athletico Paranaense, where he has a deal until December 2026. However, there is no word on whether Liverpool will make an offer for Bento. Athletico Paranaense are anticipated to be looking for around £25million to prize the 25-year-old away this summer.
