Watch the new trailer for Saltburn with Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi

Saltburn hits theaters next month, and now we’ve got a new trailer to tease the dark twists and debauchery in store.

An expansion of the teaser trailer released in August, the new trailer is light on plot but heavy on atmosphere, and we can easily see why we hear someone say, “A lot of people get lost in Saltburn.”

Writer-director Emerald Fennell’s follow-up to Promising Young Woman had its world premiere at Telluride in August before hosting its international premiere earlier this month when it opened the London Film Festival.

The film focuses on student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), who struggles to find his place at Oxford University. But the opportunity arises when he comes into contact with the charming aristocrat Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi).

Felix invites Oliver to his family’s sprawling Saltburn estate for a summer, but neither Oliver nor Felix can expect what an unforgettable summer it will be, one that will change both of their lives forever.

Saltburn also stars Rosamund Pike and Richard E Grant as Felix’s mum and dad Elsbeth and James, while Alison Oliver plays Felix’s sister Venetia and Gran Turismo star Archie Madekwe plays Felix’s cousin, Farleigh.

The cast also includes a young up-and-comer reunion with Carey Mulligan in a supporting role as Pamela, a friend of the family staying at Saltburn, and Paul Rhys as Saltburn’s butler Duncan.

Following its early reviews, Saltburn stands at 81% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing, with praise for its dark humor and outrageous upper-class satire.

Saltburn is released in cinemas on November 17.
