BBC Glastonbury viewers launch same complaint as tearful fans after Sugababes performance

Glastonbury viewers pointed to the same issue when the Sugababes graced the stage tonight.

The famous music festival is in full flow as thousands descended on Worthy Farm. Dua Lipa headlines the Pyramid Stage on Friday.

The pop star is just one of hundreds of musicians performing at the Somerset festival. The Sugababes proved to be one of today’s most popular acts as the iconic girl group delighted fans on the West Holt Stage.

Viewers watching the BBC’s coverage of the festival were delighted by the performance which saw original members Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan take to the stage. Fans were so eager to see the girl group that the organizers had to close the roads to get to the stage due to the large number of people who flocked to see them.

This is the second time that Sugababes have generated such a reaction, and fans on social media platform X said that they need to be upgraded to a bigger stage next time. One fan said the performance was so good it brought those in attendance to tears.

Niamh said: “I love how the sugababes were so popular at glasto 2022, there wasn’t enough room on the ground outside the stage to see them and now look at the crowd at the West Holts stage, they need a place on the pyramid scene as soon as possible. “
