A mum-of-three from Leeds has died in Turkey after traveling to the country for cosmetic surgery.

Tributes to Leah Cambridge are pouring in on social media.

Her devastated partner said her family were still waiting for answers” about the tragedy.

Leah Cambridge, 29, is said to have died after undergoing a Brazilian butt lift” at a clinic that boasts a celebrity clientele.

The procedure, which reshapes the buttocks by transferring fat from areas including the stomach and back, has become an increasingly popular technique for achieving an hourglass figure.

The beautician from Leeds reportedly traveled to a clinic in the city of Izmir for the £3,000 operation.

Her partner Scott Franks, 31, said he was left a broken man and warned others considering going under the knife to consider the risks.

Scott told Radio Aire that people need to be aware of the situations that can happen with this treatment.

Hundreds of people took to social media to write heartfelt messages. A friend wrote: “Absolutely heartbroken. Our Leah is beautiful, kind, loving, genuine & the talented best friend. The most amazing mother to her boys.”

Another says: “losing a beautiful best friend to many has put so many things into perspective we are truly devastated.”

“Honestly, such a beautiful young woman with a beautiful family, my heart aches for Scott Franks and his beautiful boys and the rest of the family out there, it honestly does.”

The family is still waiting for answers and is also trying to get a flight to bring Leah home.

The huge popularity of curvier celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Nicki Minaj has seen some women go to extreme lengths to emulate their hourglass figures.

Proponents of the Brazilian head lift, or BBL, say it achieves results quickly and recovery is usually quick.

However, experts have warned that it carries a risk of serious complications
