The Met Office forecasts when temperatures will hit 25 degrees Celsius in Greater Manchester

It’s good news for Manchester this weekend as the weather will be mostly sunny and dry with temperatures rising.

According to Met Office forecasters, good conditions are forecast for much of today (Friday), Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures have now started to return to near or above average for this time of year.

And from Monday it will feel even warmer as temperatures climb to a maximum of 25C in our region. Forecasters predict it will feel “quite warm and humid” into the new week.

Forecasters are predicting that today will be largely dry and sunny, with highs of 22C this afternoon. Cloudier conditions could set in later this evening, with some rain showers forecast for Saturday night.

But after a cloudy start to Greater Manchester tomorrow morning, the rest of the day will be dry and sunny again. The mercury will reach highs of around 20C during the afternoon.

Sunday is set to be another mostly dry day with sunny spells forecast throughout the afternoon. Temperatures will reach maximums of around 22 degrees.

According to the Met Office, temperatures will then reach a maximum of 25C on Monday and Tuesday. Sunny periods and cloudy intervals are forecast during the warm weather.

On the general outlook for the North West from Sunday to Tuesday, the Met Office said: “Mostly dry with variable cloud and bright or sunny spells on Sunday.

“Mostly fine and dry with bright or sunny spells on Monday and Tuesday. Rather warm and humid.”
