A ‘beautiful’ house in Cornwall has gone on the market and has an incredibly unique feature hidden in the garden. The house is located in Polperro, which will be enough of a draw for most buyers – just as many dream of living in the charming fishing village, popular with tourists and locals alike.

One of the perks of living there is that only residents or those doing business in the area are allowed to drive on the roads. This means that while tourists flock to the village, their vehicles are parked away from the hill, providing some peace of mind for the locals. But hidden in the garden is the most unique feature of this property – an entire model village of, you guessed it, Polperro. Polperro Model Village has been a popular attraction since the 1950s. Despite surviving numerous fires and floods over the years, it remains a beloved part of the community.

Now this miniature replica of Polperro is up for sale, along with the house next door, the Mirror reports.

Listed by Carla Jones Estate Agents on Rightmove, the property was originally built on an old forge. It has since been transformed into a detailed model of Polperro, even featuring a small model village within the model village itself.

Besides the model village, there is also a model train and another exhibit called Land Of Legends. This interactive display educates visitors about the rich folklore and history of Polperro as seen through the eyes of workers, pirates and smugglers.

This unique property, with its own model village, is currently listed for £725,000. The price includes a beautiful home, providing a place to live while managing this unique attraction.

Rightmove describes the property as a “very well presented three bedroom house with a lovely sun terrace where the new owners can take full advantage of what is on offer”.

Despite its unusual nature, the photos reveal that the property retains a certain charm and beauty.
