Supermarket offering free breakfast for members of the Armed Forces in Cornwall

Tesco is offering free breakfast to members of the Armed Forces in two of its cafes in Cornwall this weekend.

This Sunday, June 30, all armed forces personnel, regulars and reservists are eligible for free hot breakfast.

This promotional token of appreciation is available at Redruth’s Tesco cafe in Station Road and St Austell’s Tesco cafe in Daniels Lane.

With a MOD90 ID card, all cardholders can choose from a full range of breakfast options: either Breakfast, Veggie Breakfast, Vegan Breakfast, Sausage Bap, Veggie Bap or Bacon Bap, without paying a penny .

2024 marks the third year the free breakfast has been offered, and veterans are part of this year’s offer, provided they show a valid veteran’s ID card.

Tesco Group Chief Product Officer and Executive Sponsor of the Armed Forces Network, Ashwin Prasad, expressed the company’s continued support for the Armed Forces.

He said: “As the largest private employer of Armed Forces veterans in the UK, we feel a close affinity with Armed Forces personnel.

“Everyone loves a free breakfast and it’s a nice way to thank them for their service.”
